Ok, my status changed to Further review required, does that mean, I’m good enough and that not all my papers are complete so they need to see the rest of my grades to decide, or do they just put that when not everything is complete?
Everything is complete in my file except my midyear report.
Has anyone gotten rejected already? If so, I think Further Review Required is something good, yeah?

All the information you want is on the McGill page, on the front page, in the Decisions page.

No it isnt, when you go to help it explains it but it’s still quite vague, well for me it is anyway lol

That thread.

How does that answer me question? yes, one person got rejected, but if a person gets further review required, is that a good sign?

Not really…I guess you just passed filtering process.

Yeah, for one faculty i’m applying to, it’s FRR. I’m chosing to be an optimist and think that it’s a good thing bcoz my grade doesn’t suck that badly that i’m still in the running.

its not good or bad.

Hey, can someone post the phone number for admissions here? I can’t seem to get onto the McGill site and they made an error on my application.

Here you go:

Tel: 514-398-3910
Fax: 514-398-4193

Though they probably won’t be open until Monday

The website says that if you get “Further Review Required”

“We were unable to make an admissions decision when your file was first reviewed. Once the missing documentation is received your file will be reviewed again.”

Optimistically looking at this statement (b/c I got it for both my Faculties…) I think that they liked what they saw but they were 100% yet since many students have your stats, but if you do really well First Semester and have a great Mid-year Report you could probably get accepted.

Objectively, I don’t think FRR is bad or good because you really don’t have a decision yet, but at least you haven’t been rejected yet. Keep your fingers crossed!
