<p>After you apply for academic renewal and wait for it to go through, do you receive a response by snail mail or does it just reflect on your online transcript once it processes? How long should it take in general?</p>
<p>I just applied for academic renewal a little less than two weeks ago to remove a ‘D’. At my college, I made an appointment with my counselor, filled out the paper work, and about a week and a half later I received an email telling me that my application had been approved. The changes to my transcript went into effect a couple of days later.</p>

And just an e-mail, no snail mail?</p>
