Any chances???

Transfers have a less than 2% chance of getting in. So if you thought that freshman admission was a crapshoot, think again…

If you are qualified now to transfer to Stanford, how did you end up at Penn State? Were your SAT’s and HS GPA more consistent with PSU or SU?

Hippo724 where you a transfer

BK91 - don’t let the statistics scare you. If you are genuine, and you let your good qualities shine through in your application, I’m sure you will get good news.

^thank you

^No I wasn’t a transfer. But statistically speaking, transfers have a much, much harder chance of getting in then freshman applicants. It’s not impossible, to be sure, but it’s a whole other ball game.

I do wish you all the luck in the world though. Hopefully I will see you on the farm.

Here are some stats to help you figure things out.
[Applicant Profile : Stanford University](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/uga/basics/selection/profile.html#transfers)

Good Luck

Where’s the legendary guy who transferred into Stanford last year from CC? I forgot his username…

Is it harder to transfer as an outstate?

Did you find the username yet?
