Has anyone taken IB 131 Lab? Any tips?

I heard lab portion is really hard and would like to know what's the best way to succeed in the class. Any tips would be helpful. Thank you so much! :)

I haven't taken it, but some of the graduate students in one of the labs I work for have GSI's it. I've heard that it is a lot of memorization, so if you can memorize body parts well, you would do well

Some of my friends have described the class as the hardest IB standalone labs (i.e. courses where lab is a separate course # as opposed to courses where lab and lecture fit under one course #).

Go to open lab hours. The best way to learn the material is to actually see it over and over again. For the lab practicals, you're expected to identify muscles/nerves/regions of the cadaver and models. This is especially important for the cadaver because it's not color coded like the models and the pictures in your textbook.

Also, be sure to pay attention to histology since that's worth like 1/3 of your grade.
