Has anyone used Princeton Reviews SAT Single Subject Private Master Tutoring

I have been out of high school for a couple of years, and Math was never my strong subject when in school. I passed the classes that I needed to graduate, but I have looked over the SAT practice tests and I don’t remember any of the concepts because I don’t use them. The verbal part, however, is not difficult for me at all and I expect above a 500 on it. What I need is a 1000 on the Math+Verbal parts in order to be eligible for the Marine Corps Platoon leaders Course after my freshman year, which is a 6-week pre-commissioning program.

My question is, has anyone used the above stated tutoring service and had significant results? What I need is a tutor that will work with me on the concepts, and provide me with materials that will allow me to tutor myself on my own. Will I be able to accomplish this in paying 1850$ for a tutor?

Thanks everyone.

one of my friends took the course, and he basically told me it’s basically someone re-reading the princeton review book to you and assigning homework. If you are highly self-motivated, you should be fine just by practicing the sections in the blue book.
