I received a call from a recruiter from the Princeton Review saying that I requested information on their website. I do remember being on their website but I’m pretty sure I didn’t request any information about that service. Nonetheless I agreed to a future phone appointment with them. The woman called yesterday and explained a little bit about the service and made yet another appointment to sit at my computer with my daughter and explain what it is they do. That appointment is next week. I found the woman very pushy though. She didn’t even give me a chance to express a real interest before she was confirming the next appointment! I would love to hear anyone’s experience with this service.
It’s pretty weak, from what I’ve heard. They hire recent grads with no experience and don’t pay them particularly well, and in my experience, that’s a bad recipe.
I would never sign up for something if they pressure like that. I would cancel if I were you.
Princeton Review’s SAT/ACT tutoring isn’t stellar, so I doubt their college counseling service is much better.
I didn’t sign up yet I only made an appointment for them to show me what their service offers.
The girl on the phone definitely sounded young
