Has the college process decimated your life?

that’s why you should cs

You life doesn’t have to be decimated, gimme a break. It’s all stress you’re putting on yourself.

1) If you study for the SAT and prep as much as you can, that’s really all you can do. I realized this after a lot of studying, and in the end I just accepted that all I could do was my best, and my best was enough. If it’s not enough, whatever, you can’t do anything about it if it was your best.

2) Even if in the end you don’t get in where you want, the vast majority of people end up loving their college and wouldn’t trade its experience even for their former dream school. There’s always transfer and grad school, anyway.

3) You can live a fulfilling life with a college degree, regardless of the school it came from (and I’m not saying you need a college degree for a fulfilling life).

4) Once you’ve sent in your app, there’s nothing more you can do. I’ve accepted that all I can do is make my app the best app it can be. I have reaches that I love, matches that I love, safeties that I love, and if that fails, there’re always other state unis. You won’t always be dealt the cards you want so you have to play with what you have, and make it the best hand ever.
