Well I was just assigned to Has (Apt #: 1910) and I was wondering what peoples opinions on them are. When I went to visit there were alot of families I saw (ie. little kids running around), so I’m a bit hesitant because of that. Although, having your own apt /w kitchen will be nice. What do you think of them?

if you’re a transfer student you’ll be fine because you’ll be living with other transfers.

Thanx for the input.
Also, does anyone know if the singles in Has are bigger than the singles on the new west campus dorms (When I visited I was only able to see the west campus dorms)?

“When I went to visit there were alot of families I saw (ie. little kids running around), so I’m a bit hesitant because of that”

I dont think they’re sticking you in between families, transfers (last time I checked) were getting their own part of the place.

"the singles in Has are bigger than the singles on the new west campus dorms "

I didn’t know it was possible to get any smaller.

I just got assigned to hasbrouck as well. I’m in 1808- maybe we’ll be in the same building. Gomestar is right, we’ll have our own little space, so it should be a nice little group. Also, I’m not entirely sure, but I think that the singles are in the same unit as another double, so in a sense you have roommates. If anyone could confirm/deny that it would be great (I got placed in a single).

Nuug: I heard there are singles & doubles intermixed within the Apts. as well, although I dont have any specific info to back it up.

Gome: I truly hope they cant make singles any smaller.

But does anyone know if they are larger or equivlent in size?

those families and little kids you saw were because Hasbrouck housed only graduate students until this year. Now they’ve been kicked out basically so transfers will be by themselves.

HSBK 0904B-1

What does this mean?

HSBK is abrv. for Hasbrouck apts. 0904 I beleive is the apt #. B I beleive refers to your room and I dont know what the -1 means.

I think the 1 indicates a single bed/occupant, did you get a single?

Hey I am in hasbrouck with a single too! Join the facebook group! I just found out that there is a group for transfers and a group for hasbrouck people!
