I’ve been following this story for years, since the stories of U.S. intelligence officers in Cuba experiencing immediate onset debilitating symptoms surfaced. I watched this segment on 60 minutes last night. Whatever the weapon is that’s responsible for this, it’s remarkably dangerous.

The victims’ backgrounds and stories all sounded so similar. Why is our government ignoring this?
What a government does or knows in private may not necessarily be what is implied in public statements, especially when it involves clandestine activity and responses to such.

I also suspect that the government knows more than they are letting on. I sincerely hope that is a correct suspicion.

I hate to think what society would be like if whatever mechanism does this, becomes widely available.
