Have any got waiting list for the STEP and TRiO Program?

I don’t know how many people are in the waiting list… just feel horrible to be in ther waiting list… Doesn’t it mean that I mostly cannot get into the program? And I should do something else during the summer?

Dear Student,

We hope this letter finds you in good health and with positive expectations for the 2012 academic year.

Due to the amount of applicants and limited resources available for the Summer Transitional Enrichment Program (STEP) and TRiO Student Support Services Program (SSSP), we regret to inform you that we have placed you on our waiting list.

This year a limited 25 spaces were available for transfer students in STEP, forcing us to make some tough choices regarding who to accept.

Students will be taken off the waitlist as spaces become available. Inquiries regarding ranking on waitlist will not be disclosed. We ask that you be patient, as changes may occur up through the day the program begins on August 11. We will contact you if a space opens up.

Thank you again for your interest in OASIS and the TRiO Student Support Services Program. We encourage you to apply for our OASIS Math/Science workshops during Welcome Week. These tutorial workshops are open to all undergraduate students.
We thank you for your interest in and wish you success throughout your academic career.
