<p>For the AP scholar awards, I’m pretty sure that “all tests taken” means what it says, so you can’t cancel an old score to raise your average for the awards that consider your average score across all AP tests taken. But, yes, I know of a few examples of students who retook AP tests, and the higher score is the one colleges will count insofar as colleges count AP scores. </p>

<p>My advice is just to self-report all your scores, and let your best scores make your case as the college considers scores.</p>
