<p>i noticed that the authors of history books try their very best to include the contributions made by women in history but in every single chapter its all the same. i swear to god every chapter goes something like this “Women were the head of the household, raised the children, were responsible for the children, and had CONSIDERABLE influence over their husbands in the decision-making process”. the attempt these authors make to try to be politically correct is kinda lame. we all know that women were pretty much oppressed and had no power prior 21st century so whats with the point of trying to mention all of this? as a reminder to those who will take offense, i am no chauvinist or misogynist. my point being is that why even mention the same stuff about women over and over again during each historical time period when what women did were pretty much the same thing until 21st century?</p>

<p>What about the recurring theme of “the [lower] class was heavily disgruntled with the luxuries of the [upper] class”?</p>
