We were in Chicago last week and DC/VA this week. Leaves are changing and lovely. There are some on the ground but still quite a lot in the trees. I’m loving the yellows, oranges and reds while we travel. When I get back to HI, of course, we will have all green leaves. :)

Leaves are beginning to fall in North Texas.

My scarlet oak holds its leaves through the winter, till the new ones form.
My neighbor on the other hand, has two large pin oaks and he has had to pay for them to be swept up for the last three weeks.
Not sure why, they make good mulch & he followed in my footsteps after his remodel & had native landscaping installed instead of a lawn. :)

I don’t know about leaves falling, but we did see some snow falling this week here in Minnesota.

Leaves are falling in NC.

All the leaves just fell off of our giant maple tree – Minnesota. But there are still quite a few leaves left on some trees. I expect most of them to go over the next week.

West Los Angeles here: Yes, the leaves are falling. And it is warm today (about 80 ish)

Northern Lower Michigan. The leaves are gone. Winter is coming. Lake effect snow tonight. Just in time for gun season, which is a major holiday here. :(

I hate the “s” word!!! :(

Here in northern VA the trees usually seem to peak around the third week of October. I have noticed that we still have a lot of leaves on the trees and it is gorgeous!

Things seem a little later here in PA; strong winds brought down a lot last night. My favorite are the ginkgoes which typically lose all their leaves in a day; they look a little like a green snow storm. (We had flurries her this morning.)

Leaves are long gone in western wyoming. We have snow on the ground!

In my part of Eastern PA I would say they are 80% down.

From Manhattan – leaves falling from trees in Riverside Drive Park, along the Hudson River. I can see New Jersey from my house!! Hopefully they won’t raise my rent.

I’m not sure who is raking, just that it isn’t me.

Our very large ginko has not lost it’s leaves yet. Husband has been dealing with the stinky fruit for a few weeks though! I expect it to drop next week when the temperatures are suppose to tumble quite low. And true, the whole tree literally drops its millions of leaves in the matter of a couple of hours! Kind of cool to watch.
