Have to get at least a 32, I need some help!

<p>So I recently found out that I have the grade point average, the EC’s, the volunteer hours, and all the other little details necessary to get a really great scholarship from one school I’m interested in. We’re talking a possible full ride. The school counselor says I have an excellent chance of receiving said scholarship, but I need to get at least a 32 composite on the ACT (she didn’t say what SAT score). I plan on taking the test this summer for the first time. </p>

<p>After deciding to do full dual enrollment, I got placed back in math because they required me to do the basic college level algebra class to start off with. I was too late to register to CLEP the class, but long story short I know that I am weak in trig/stats/probability. Reading and writing isn’t as big of an issue, but I do tend to overthink problems on standard testing. </p>

<p>Does anyone know what I can do to get this test score? Any insight would be much appreciated.</p>

<p>Take a practice test to find out about where you are. You’ll also learn your weak and strong points. From there grade the questions and find out WHY you missed the ones you missed. It might help to keep a notebook of the concepts (at least for math) behind the questions you missed. Take a test (or just section) once a week or two. Make sure to keep checking and learning why you missed questions.</p>

<p>As for the rest, the few weeks before the test review your notebook. Then go through old tests and try to do the questions you previously missed. No matter what you score on your first practice test, a 32 is obtainable given the time you have to prepare.</p>

<p>A 32 is about a 2120 on the SAT, so perhaps if you are lacking in trig, you might want to take the SAT.</p>
