Have to transfer to community college..

Well I tried a big state school and it wasn’t for me both socially and financially. A job I was offered on campus failed to follow through and a scholarship I was suppose to be given never went through and I have tried contacting the people in charge of it and nothing. So I have to go to a Dallas Community College and change my major (it’s a major only most state schools have). My first question is: if I already declined financial aid for the community college is their any way I can go back and accept it (I applied as a just in case). Also, is it best to take classes online or attending an actual class?

Pick up the phone, call them and ask about the financial aid situation.

I’ve taken online classes and in person classes. There is a significant difference in the experience. Most first year college students don’t have the self-discipline and organization skills needed to succeed and a fully online program. Try to take as many live classes as you can. Remember that you will be transferring out eventually, and you will need to know your profs in order to have good letters of recommendation.
