<p>My counselor told me that some admission officials told her that Language Arts teachers should never read personal statements.</p>

<p>Is this true?</p>

<p>in any case, the counselors at my school actively encourage kids to run things by our teachers</p>

<p>My language arts teacher liked my 1st essay, but it wasn’t as personal as my 2nd essay, which my counselor liked.</p>
