Have you read the discussion boards of Facebook groups/applications?

<p>They really illustrate what happens when you get a bunch of anonymous people from all over the world together.</p>

<p>Especially the boards of the largest groups.</p>

<p>I never realized people had THAT much stamina over political debates - which people DO seem to tire of in forums (at least such debates don’t start hijacking threads on facebook groups).</p>

<p>Or that much stamina over “rate the person’s appearance above you”</p>

<p>Yeah… I haven’t noticed too many political debates. They’re mainly like:
“wud U have sEx w/ teh persoN abuv u?!?!?”</p>

<p>The more people in a group, the less they tend to have in common…</p>

<p>So they bond over what they can – namely, appearance and sex.</p>

<p>I make it a point to now join Facebook groups anymore.</p>
