I recently encountered a problem with skimming the double-passage reading in critical reading. I am a slower reader and I need to read word to word and it normally takes me 4 minutes just to read the passage, I tried to skim but I couldn’t under the passage if spend less than 4 minutes peruse it. What should I do now?

I would just start reading stuff in general. The newspaper, books, magazines, whatever it takes to get your reading comprehension up. Don’t skim, but rather read as fast as you can while getting the main idea. If you can’t understand it, read slower.

Dyslexia perhaps?

After you read the first passage, then answer all the questions for that passage, then do the same thing with the second passage. After you have done that, you should be able to answer the questions that reference both passages. I hope that helps.
