Can anyone speak on what people have to do when they are getting hazed? How intense is it, for how long? Examples?
I belong to three fraternal organiations: Alpha Phi Omega, Zeta Phi Beta, and Order of the Eastern Star. And no, I cannot describe any hazing. (not all organizations allow hazing). Ask a member of the organization you are considering directly and off of the internet. You will not find truth on a forum.
It’s different at every school and within every Greek. Hazing is illegal so the previous poster is right - it won’t be disclosed. You may not even be able to find out by asking a member of an organization since within a fraternity these things are considered “secrets.” If you hear of hazing - stay away. Historically, hazing has been highly dangerous which is why there are now laws of protection regarding such activity.
