Has anyone else experienced this before? I had to study 500 slides for my bio exam in a matter of two days and oh man did my brain feel like it was going to explode. IS this just me, or does it happen to others?

Have you had your eyes checked this year?

Yes I have felt brain fatigue after heavy studying. My eye doc told me I was slightly farsighted and to make sure to look at and focus for a few seconds on something far away - a tree, the skyline, a building. Maybe once an hour or so to give the eyes a break. This helped me a lot - I still use it to this day.

Why did it come down to 2 days? Were there circumstances that did not allow you to devote more time to the studying? Just curious.

Yes, when your brain gets fatigued after non-stop work it tells you that it needs fuel and rest. Take little breaks, go outside to catch a breath of fresh air and have a cup of tea with a teaspoon of sugar. You brain will thank you by remembering the stuff faster.

Lol because I work about 30 hours a week and am a full time student. And the problem is not the subject difficulty btw

And I have glasses

many years ago when i was in college studying my Italian aunt asked me if my head felt like it was going to explode stuffing so much information into my head…i used to think that was funny- maybe she had something there…

Or maybe your neck got strained from looking down a microscope hours on end?
Muscle strain in your neck can feel like a headache…

Advil is a wonderful invention.

Are you a (caffeinated) coffee drinker? If so, it could be caffeine withdrawal headaches that develop after going without for long periods.

I don’t drink coffee. I just think it was staring at a computer screen all day memorizing slider. I just took an aspirin and feel a lot better. So know ill just type up the essay and lab report due tommorow
