Heading to Nashville. Restaurant tips?

Oh oh! A question I can help with! Let me relish this moment…

I recommend The Old Spaghetti Factory. Very good food, good cost, but I would go for lunch rather than dinner. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty safe, but once in a while you hear about things. If you’re willing to splurge, The Melting Pot has excellent fondue. Good barbecue can be found on Broadway.

The Frist Center offers many exhibits, and I really liked it. I wouldn’t go to the Parthenon, though, unless you want to kill an hour or two. It’s mostly just, “Oh, nice columns.”

I assume you’ll be staying near West End, close to Vandy?
