Headshots, printing

I need to get D’s headshots printed-- took them myself and I don’t think they need retouching…I was starting to use Snapfish but they don’t have a way to print the name on the headshot. So, I thought I’d ask what has worked for those of you here who’ve done it.
The Theatre and MT boards have some discussion but it’s pretty dated by now. I know someone suggested Kinko’s but we’re desperately rural out here and mail order seems like a better idea.

Would love to hear any thoughts! Thank you!

Hi, again! Do you have any photo-shop type software? That would allow you to add a name to the photograph. I just tried it in the default Microsoft Paint program that comes as in the Accessories section and was able to do it there. Then you could save the photo with the text, and then you could send that to be printed.

PM me if you have questions or need help!

The place we have always used to have reprints made of my daughter’s headshots since she was a kid is Reproductions in NYC (and we live in rural Vermont, though now as a young adult my D does live in NYC and still uses Reproductions when she gets new headshots reprinted). They are very well known in the industry for making the headshot reprints. Here is the website: [Reproductions - Headshot Printing, Retouching and Webdesign for Actors](http://www.reproductions.com). They ship all over the country. Their website has all the forms to fill out and how to submit the digital photos and pick out fonts and borders and all that. You can get them in batches of 50, 100, etc. I would be less inclined to do it another way because this place truly deals with actor headshots and are not some regular printer company. Many of my advisees who are from all over the country, also have used Reproductions. We have used them for headshot reprints for about 12 years. I have no connection to Reproductions but they are one of the best known places for headshot reprints and I do recommend using them (also has been mentioned by others on the MT and Theater forums).

Another vote for Reproductions.

We used Reproductions 2 years ago for my D’s headshots before college auditions and they were wonderful.

Brilliant, thank you all so much. I am going straight to Reproductions. BTW college_query, I can hardly wait for my chance to do you a favor after all your help, thank you!!!
