<p>I’m going to have to go see my dentist sometime in the near future (as in tomorrow), due to a chipped tooth. I was wondering, does my insurance coverage cover this?</p>

<p>I have the Individual PPO Share 5,000 under Blue Cross-California. It lists “Dental Injuries” as a claim, but … does that mean I would have had to get a KO from Mike Tyson in order to claim? Or does this include the chipped tooth (which I have no idea how it chipped, it just sort of happened) that I have?</p>

<p>So far, I’ve had no need to use my insurance. But now… :-S…</p>

<p>In general your health insurance individual plan is NOT going to cover any dental except some sort of accident. You would have to read your policy or ask your agent, but I would not plan on it!</p>
