"Healthy December" - Keeping On Track To Avoid The January Bandwagon Wellness Pitfall

My running streak, started on Thanksgiving Day, ended Thursday, because we had a big snowstorm and our power went out. But I’m starting again today! I gained some weight, but I’m back on track now.

I didn’t overeat but I definitely ate the wrong foods. Yesterday I went to a NY day brunch at a friends and had 1/2 bagel with cream cheese, 1/2 of a delicious plain croissant from a local French bakery and a sliver of a slice of quiche, a couple pieces of delicious chocolate and a bite of cherry pie. I did only drink water so no added calories there. Basically all carbs which are my weak spots.
I have cleaned out most of my “weak” spot foods out of my refrigerator. Got out for a walk several days this week. I don’t think it will be hard to get back on a healthier meal plan.
