<p>Recently, the ending of Les Miserables. Older movies, the “Sunrise, Sunset” scene of Fiddler on the Roof as well as the scene where the daughter is leaving on the train, missypie. Also, the ending of It’s a Wonderful Life.</p>
<p>I was tempted to see Where the Red Fern Grows, but decided not to since the book darn near killed me.</p>
<p>When D was 3, I settled her on the couch to watch The Land Before Time. Later, I came around the corner and found her with two big tears rolling down her cheeks. I’ve scarred her, just as my mother scarred me by letting me watch Bambi. :(</p>
<p>I cried during Camelot. Loved the songs, but was so sad about the story. Still love the songs and movie, but it is one of the few that makes me cry.</p>
<p>King and I also makes me sad. Carousel also is sad and bittersweet.</p>
<p>Dr. Zhivago would make me cry - for some reason it would be shown on TV on New Years Day way back when.</p>
<p>I saw “The Boy In the Striped Pajamas”, indeed a very, very heart wrenching movie. I cried for a long while after the ending, feeling a very heavy weight on my heart. Many movies had brought tears to my eyes, but nothing like this one…I had never reacted so strongly to a movie before, except this one…</p>

<p>The movie Homeward Bound - This is the movie where the dogs get lost and try to find their way back home. My kids must have watched 100 times. I tear up near the end when the old dog Shadow comes limping into focus. ( I think Michael J Fox was the voice of one of the dogs)</p>

<p>Toy story 3, especially with first-born preparing for college. I think UP was a real DOWNer… Very sad from beginning, and the rest not terribly up-lifting at all! </p>
<p>Steel magnolias… And The Notebook tears me apart, especially when she briefly comes back to him but then stops and has her Alzheimer’s episodes… Ghost… Ordinary people… .</p>

<p>The movie Billy Elliot gets me to my core.</p>
<p>Just saw play, “Hedda Gabler.” It was disturbing but not wrenching. Viewed it with H and my folks. We all had similar reactions. Excellent cast but odd story.</p>
<p>Toy Story 3: when the toys look into each other’s eyes and lock arms in acceptance of their imminent doom…</p>

<p>When the little girl in the wheelchair sees Winter and says, She’s just like me, I looked at my son, and tears were streaming down his face. It was then that I knew that no matter what, I was going to help him achieve his dream of helping the disabled.</p>
<p>I have never seen Up. Husband and son saw it together while I went to work. Husband says he cried and cried at the movie. I have to see it one day, but as we’re old, it will be unbearable.</p>
