Heinz chapel wedding or elsewhere in Oakland area

My D just got engaged and would like to get married at Heinz Chapel (she is a recent Pitt graduate). I understand the task of booking the chapel is quite competitive, that’s why she is thinking of getting married elsewhere.

Her future father-in-law in a Lutheran minister and will be performing the ceremony, but since her in-laws live out of state, getting married at his church is not an option. We are now seeking a non-denominational site with as much grandeur (might be tough to beat Heinz chapel) in the Oakland area. Does anyone have any suggestions? Most likely the reception will be at the LeMont and I’m not sure they can accommodate a ceremony as well.

How large of a wedding is she planning? I have been inside the Mansions at Fifth (website: http://mansionsonfifth.com/</a>) which is a beautiful location, but only good for smaller weddings I think.

Likewise, Phipps Conservatory (http://phipps.conservatory.org/</a>) is a beautiful garden-type location, also for a smaller wedding though.
