sorry,
just wrote the title fo get ur attention. now that i have it, please answer some ques… or maybe just answer one.
the websites of many univ(pertaining to med schools) say that if u’ve taken sat1 only, then u have to take 3sat2 tests(writing, chemistry and maths). suppose if i take sat1 and sat2(biology) only, then do i have to take the maths and chemistry test also?
i the thanks u. (i wrote that on purpose.my english ain’t that bad).

Yes you do have to take chemistry, math, and writing if they request it. You can’t just pick and choose if they give you a requirement of those specific tests. The writing subject test doesn’t exist anymore. I’m guessing they want chemistry, math IIC, and some other one. Do you need help understanding the college admissions process because you have posted all over this forum asking questions that should be obvious at this point in the year?

hmm, its surprising that the websites aren’t updated to the new SATs. I would call just to double check, but from what the website requires, you need chem and math.

yes,i think i am having a problem, tangytart.i’m living in india,in a small town . i don’t have access to any counselor or guidance center cause they aren’t here. i scourge the web for these info and when i have a problem i post them on the forum. the language on the univ. websites is totally unclear.u guys must be used to that stuff cause ur aquainted with it.but i’m not. that’s why i’m posting all over the forum.
i’m really tense right now cause i have to prepare for my ISC board (12th grade)exams and prepare the stuff for college at the same time. getting a good result in both of them is a must for me. if i don’t, my life will be ruined. so bear with me.
sorry if i offended u.
if i have any queries i’ll send u a mail.
also, is barron’s ok for chem and math preparation? and are these tests really hard?

Sorry, I think I was a little harsh when I didn’t mean to be. Barron’s is a good choice for both math and chem. The tests are not that hard and most students who take them score well. If you just go through the review books then you will be fine. What test date have you registered for?

i’m going to new delhi tomorrow to register for these tests-
sat1,sat2(biology,maths,chem ). i’ll try to get the dates sometime near april-june. my exams will have finished by then.my result will be out in may.
