Hello, Old Friends!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here - we’ve had a very busy couple of years!

You may remember when our newborn was discovered to have an electrical condition in her heart early last year. She’s doing fine - cute as a button! Thankfully, the really dangerous meds controlling her heart problem have had no side effects other than making her really, really active. Fun, but tough for parents in their forties! :-)

Since then, it’s gotten even crazier! In January, my beloved dh was diagnosed with stage four cancer and a book of ours was released that just took off! We’ve spent the months since then alternating book tours, chemotherapy and radiation, and keeping our children, life and business going… Thankfully, dh is now cancer free!

We’re wild trying to pick up all the pieces from these trials and now we’re going into another child’s senior year. Whew! So, here I am again.

I was delighted to see a bunch of you old friends are still here!! I’m looking forward to jumping into the forum again…

Wow. Just wow.

So what have you been doing in your spare time? ;)

Glad to see you back and that DH is cancer-free. Many answered prayers there, I am sure. And also, of course we are so glad your daughter is doing so well.

And I thought my life was hectic! Whoa.

Wow. You are amazing.

Churchmusicmom, you are so right – so thankful to God for his mercy towards us! In January it was 50/50 whether dh would survive and now no cancer at all. All of the children and I are so relieved!!

Glad to hear that your trials & tribulations have happy endings!

What kind of book did you write???

Glad to hear that baby is doing well and DH is better! We’re all still here, just hanging out like usual! ;)
