Another line in the pond:)
Kid 2018 is a natural fit for this thread and I appreciate all the collective wisdom here that will help us – help him – find his way.
We have fished before but in other ponds. S1 was/is a high achiever (top 10 LAC) S2 determined not to engage like S1(happy as a clam in mid size, mid range Florida private). We learned so much from CC, especially with #1, that helped us rudder our boat.
Here we go again!
S3 is well adjusted, happy, & confident his default B performance as an academic is a-ok cus’ he’s a charmer and has the wolrld by its tail. I’m going to miss him something awful:(
He’s #3 of our 6 – 3.3 GPA (honors, will graduate with 5AP’s), 1200 on his first SAT which is better than we hoped, not a great tester (part of his GPA issue
