I once - in a moment of temporary insanity - bought DS a cool looking suede jacket. It was on sale at Macy’s for a ridiculously low price (I’m talking under $30), was classic and good looking and in his size (no small feat as he wears a Men’s Small). He immediately relegated it to the back of his closet.

He has suddenly promoted it to the category of acceptable, even desirable, outerwear :D.

He wore it several times this spring and it now has a couple of stains on it - some sticky substance along the side seam, for example. He wants to get rid of the stains.

We’ve got plenty of time as it’s hot and humid right now. Any suggestions?

if you want to keep the cost of cleaning within the price you paid for the jacket - there are suede cleaners - usually near the shoe repair/care section - and they usually come with a little metal bristle brush to raise the nap after you’ve cleaned the suede… test on an inconspicuous area first of course…
