Well, it was my first time taking the ACT. My 26 is a terrible score. Is a 30 possible by December 9th? That is what I want. What prep book can I buy? I will send my mom out tomorrow for it.
How do I send scores? Fairfield University wants scores and I hope the deadline is not the 15th of November for that. Can anyone help me find out? I did some research with hardly any luck. My landline at home is being fixed so calling is not an option, and they never emailed me back. Fairfield is one of my better safties so i need to get in!

can someone help me out? I searched and searched and everyone recommends a different book. What is the best book to get? Is cracking the ACT good? or is the barrons better?

At least get the official one (The Real ACT Prep book) just for the practice tests.

I liked Cracking the ACT from Princeton Review a lot, but I never looked at the Barron’s book before so I can’t really do a comparison of the two.

If you’re really serious about studying and do a lot of practice tests/problems from now until Decmeber 9th, I think you could probably raise your score to a 30. Good luck!

Thanks man! The only thing killing me is my test scores.

so far in my practicing (im using real act prep book)
ive raised my math by 7
english by 3

math 29>>>36
english>>> 36
Science- still 35
Reading-its holdin me back…29

I used ACT for Dummies and the Princeton Review book. Raised me from a 28 composite to a 32. =D

yeah i just did practice tests from the Real ACT and Princeton Review. Took it for the first time and got a 32.

official book and Cracking the ACT are by far the best.
