Hi guys!
I’m Nina. I am currently doing my foundation program here in Malaysia. I am planning to apply for the regular decision for Fall 2013’s intake but I haven’t decided on which universities to apply to. I am planning to apply to 5 different universities. Any suggestions on the ‘university-to-go’, in my case for the Psychology Undergraduate Program which have high admission rate?

Do you need financial aid? If so, that rules out most public universities (which don’t offer it for internationals). Private schools with high admission rates likely won’t have too much aid for internationals, either.

What do you consider a high admission rate, anyway? Admit rates at US universities range from about 5% to virtually 100%. It is difficult to compare individual department strengths at the undergraduate level, but the strongest psychology departments are likely to be at relatively selective schools. What are your grades and scores?

St. Mary’s College of Maryland is a small public “honors college” located in a rural, waterfront area. It has a ~61% admit rate. It costs about $40K/year for students who are not Maryland residents. Psychology is one of its most popular majors.
