<p>CALS or CAS biology?</p>
<p>i read the thing on the website, and i’d be happy at either one…but i really don’t know which i want to apply to… do the CAS and CALS bio kids have different research opportunities?</p>
<p>i would look beyond just the bio information and look to see the other graduation requirements for each school. if you are happier with the 4 year course schedule for one school, go for that one.</p>
<p>you can also utilize the alternate school choice option if you are really torn.</p>
<p>if you are a NY state resident, then i would go for CALS because of the tuition cut.</p>
<p>I also have this same question. I want to concentrate in Marine Biology and plan to go ED. Which would be better? I would rather take mainly science and math courses instead of a basic liberals arts program. I live in NJ so tuition would not be better in CALS.</p>
