Help - Catholic/Private High school girls tights

My 5th grader no longer fits in kids stuff. Huge growth spurt. We can’t find COTTON school socks & tights that don’t cost a fortune.

We’re looking for navy cable cotton knee highs for shoe size 8.5 womens and navy cotton (the thick kind) tights.

Can anyone point me to some places that have them for <$20?

We used to always get them at Target, but they don’t have in her new size.
TIA

Good luck finding Navy in stores. Used to have the same problem (thankfully no longer!) and ultimately ended having to buy at the school uniform company Flynn & O’Hara. They are costly but I had no luck finding them elsewhere.

Flynn doesn’t carry her size :(

Did you check the Wal Mart website?

We bought from Donald’s Uniforms for years - (I only had boys so no experience with knee highs and tights) They are Minnesota based, but here is their website so I assume they will ship anywhere. Looks like they are $11 for 3 pair.

I always wore Danskin tights in high school (private girls school). I liked footless so I could wear socks over them (and they didn’t wear out so fast). I notice they still cost very little.

Tights are easy to find, but cable knee socks in women’s sizes are IMPOSSIBLE to find. My daughter went to Catholic school, and I struggled to find navy or white socks when she grew into women’s sizes in middle school. Anyway, Hue makes them and you can purchase online:

We buy from JB Edwards. They have socks in the 10-13 size, which fit my size 9.5 7th grader.

Hue.com has cable knit knee socks in navy.

The Vermont Country Store always has practical items. Not sure if they have 100% cotton, but they do have some wool blends.
