Help- Christmas present for impossible to buy for 29 year old

Does she have a Kindle? That’s my favorite travel accessory.

@noname87 For personal reasons that I don’t want to get in to, it is not healthy for us to spend any amount of extended time together.

I haven’t actually seen my sister since she left in the middle of my wedding without telling me back in June. She is not in a very healthy place in her life and spending time together is toxic for both of us.

She is my sister and I love her but at this point, we are better from afar.

If you don’t have an REI nearby, try their website. REI has plenty of options under $100 for traveling tomboys!

Tickets to a show. I’d consider a comedy show if she loves comedy but a concert is always fun, too. You can probably buy two tickets for some fun event for about $100.

Digital photo frames still exist? I thought Facebook, photo clouds, and smartphones completely replaced them.

My favorite travel accessory is a Nordstrom tissue weight cashmere blend pashmina. It works as a scarf and a plane blanket:

Lucy’s has 40% off on some pants right now.

As far as loving a sib but not able to spend much time with–get that!

Maybe a nice cashmere throw. period. soft, memorable. What to hate? Find one on sale.

Weirdest wedding gift I gave was a sheepskin throw (or rug) I found at TJMax.
Niece said it was her very favorite gift!

Otherwise, a gift certificate to a super restaurant.

Keep it impersonal, given your relationship.

Thanks for understanding, oregon

And thank you everyone for the suggestions. I think I might do something cashmere and something pug-related. I’m really thinking about the PJ idea because she would get a kick out of that. It’s just who she is.

The PJ idea could definitely work for the right person. I know lots of dog people who would love it. Yes, my circle of friends could be co side red odd.

Romani, wanted to say that I get it about your sister also. Got my own that I’m keeping at arms length.

I think your idea of PJ’s and a pug gift is perfect.

Here you go- Pug pj’s! http://www.cafepress.com/+pugs+pajamas?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=msn&utm_campaign=40358349&utm_content=391928852&utm_term=kwd-11859942618-bb-c

These are the only ones I’ve had that I liked as much as my own:

I haven’t had these in years, but they have a great reputation:

@Consolation

YOU have excellent taste. Boxes of La Maison Du Chocolat candy are the only thing I brought back from Paris.
Christmas shopping done.

Belgian-style truffles and more. Made right on the spot. They ship.

I get everyone cashmere (or cashmere blend) socks. I’ve found the nicest ones at Portland’s SockDreams.com . There’s also garnethill.com .
