<p>So after going to the robotics nationals this past weekend I came home to find that my parents now want me to go to the CMU summer program but as I found out today the deadline for the application is May 1st which is today. I can submit the online the application but my letters of recommendation and transcript will take at least 2 days for me to get them and mail them. On the CMU site it says to have everything postmarked by may 1st so if i send it two days late will i still be considered for AP/EA?</p>

<p>If the deadline is today … then I think that was a typo. Post offices aren’t open on Sundays. It would have made more sense if they said “postmarked by April 30” or something.</p>
<p>I think most programs are lenient about these dates and such, although you will want to give them a call tomorrow morning and check.</p>
