[Help] Confusion /deadman

Hi, um…how should i start this.
I’m a freshmen in college, about to finish my first year, and things aren’t going to plan…

So yeah…Entering to the PSU, and aiming for Actuarial Science in Smeal business department of PSU (with 3.0GPA).

then i screw up, in art, in spanish, in english. (as you can see, i’m not a language person…)
and most of my other class were B avg,
one or two were A, but their credit count were low…
so included those of languages, it averages up to like C+?..

so the actuarial science dream for me is a nightmare now…

then my adviser told me there’s another root in Eberly PSU, The college of science.
They offers Mathematics (B.S.) - Actuarial Mathematics option
or Statistics - Actuarial Statistics option
Requirement for both of their GPAs were very low…2.0 i believe, but when it comes to schedules and courses, it find it ALOT harder than the actuarial science offered in Smeal,
so i guess they lowered the GPA so not everybody gonna fail, and not graduate…>?l

I’ll link their schedules:
[Mathematics (B.S.) - Actuarial Mathematics option](<a href=“Department of Mathematics | Eberly College of Science”>Department of Mathematics | Eberly College of Science)
[Statistics - Actuarial Statistics option](<a href=“Department of Statistics | Eberly College of Science”>Department of Statistics | Eberly College of Science)

From what i searched, their field of jobs opportunities seems very much alike. (not sure…)
so Judging from the schedules, which major do you guys thing would be more suitable for outside world? and which would be harder to study considering i’m so screwed with my GPA now (low gpa=i’m dumb…).

Or should i just pick an normal business major like accounting or finance or etc…
and pick a branch school like Erie PSU (business branch 2.0GPA)
so i dont aim too high for Main PSU university park (3.0 for account, 3.5 for finance)…!! -.-'

I’m having headache, I dont know why thou,
I think too much, i think i have those professionalism virus, that i have to plan out everything…

so what do you guys think?
n thanks for any helps~
-jun

My advice is, do some actual studying. Your GPA is not acceptable for anything.

Your GPA is ruined forever.
