Help! Deciding between two colleges

<p>Hi. I have been accepted to a few schools, but I am having a tough time deciding where to go.</p>

<p>At this point, I have it down to two choices (hopefully you have heard of all of them):

  • Baylor University Honor’s Program
  • Hillsdale College</p>

<p>Here are some factors influencing my decision:

  • I am interested in majoring in Economics, so I would like to go to a school with a good econ. dept.
  • I would like to go to the school with the best academic reputation (obviously). This is a huge factor, of course.
  • I would preferably like to go to school in the south, but am willing to stay in the North.
  • My EFC is low so money is a factor (Hillsdale would be cheaper then Baylor).</p>

<p>Any suggestions? Thanks.</p>

<p>Based just on Academic Reputation and future prospects, which would you recommend?</p>

<p>Where do you want to live after you graduate? If Texas, then Baylor. If Michigan, then Hillsdale. If you want a larger university, then Baylor. If you want a small college, then Hillsdale. Both are very conservative schools but Baylor is probably more recognized outside of conservative circles.</p>
