Hey Guys,
I’m getting desperate for the SAT!
I’ve been stuck at a 1950 SAT score for the past month and I’m trying to go 2250+
I started off at 1550 sophomore year so I know I’ve gotta make that final push now.
My breakdown has always been 650 650 650
So if anyone can recommend what materials to buy and a schedule to study that would be amazing
i know alot of other people are in the same situation as me so it would be great if other people could help us out!!
thanks so much guys!!

Math - Do 1 section a day, review mistakes - if it helps, retake the ones you already did to make sure you got it down.
Reading - Do 1 section a day, study SAT vocab lists, Explain to yourself why you got a question wrong. It also helps to review every correct questions and explain to yourself why you got it correct. Remember the answer must always be supported by the passage. If it helps you concentrate on the long passages, read one paragraph at a time and answer corresponding questions. Concentrating in CR is key - if you can’t concentrate, your score will tank.
Writing - learn grammar rules - subject/verb agreement, pronoun agreement, parallelism (this is BIG), idiomatic expressions (neither…nor…, either…or…, not only…but also, etc.), their/there, you’re/your, its/it’s, do 1 section a day

Do an SAT Question of the Day every day. Make sure you review every question you get wrong in any subject.

Honestly, I think the subject easiest to raise are writing and math. Reading is really hard to improve, especially if you only have a month. Don’t bother practicing the essay - it’s not worth the time.

Practice your essay. It helps you develop speed, and you will also master the sat essay. Read the how to write a 12 essay in ten days thread. I’ve improved from a 7 to a 10 in 2 weeks just by writing 2 timed essays everyday
