<p>Basically I have a
3.76 unweighted grade(don’t know weighted),
Sat 1 score =1750, essay =7 (don’t know the rest), planning to get this raised
Japanese/Chinese(but I doubt that means anything in California)
Extracurriculars-College classes,lettering in two sports(captain of one), trilingual-writing and reading(does that help at all?), and community service.</p>

<p>Basically, I was wondering that besides my SAT score(which I already know needs to be raised fast), does captain of a athletic team show leadership?, </p>

<p>Oh, and how much of a reach would it be to go to, say, USC, or some of the UC’s(maybe LA as a super reach), or on the east coast, NYU?</p>

<p>I think he means how good are you at the sport. If you can be recruited and it’s an important sport at the college, you can get into those schools with your scores. Being Asian makes it hard in both Cali and NY, but easier in the South and MW.</p>
