<p>I am junior in High School, and I have no idea about what to do with anything. How do I know what schools to look at if I don’t make the grade?! I dream of going to Brown, but fear I fall short of any big-leaguers, and a prestigious university is (oddly) kind of important to me. I am freaking- Here’s the sitch:
the good:
-varsity swiming, water polo
-class secretary
- all-eastern honors orchestra participant (plus district, regional, all-state)
- ranked 26 in class of 240ish
-volunteer as a tutor for Somalian refugees
-History day documentary producer, 5 years - got a national gold key for writing
- half- marathon and triathlete
- beekeeper
-co founder of first National Honor Bus
-“gifted” student</p>
<p>the bad:
-am on academic probation for NHS(92.4 gpa)
-haven’t made honors consistantly (gym gets ya every time!)
-white, female, middle class
- ranked 26 in class of 240ish
- I pretty much peaked in middle school
-average sat scores- 630 math, 750 reading</p>
<p>please please please help me! I am stressed out beyond belief, aimless in this stream of competitive, cutthroat chaos!!</p>
