Yes - our other 3 children went to schools that made both financial and academic sense even though all 3 were very strong academically and EC - all three are gainfully employed or one their way now pursuing great careers in areas they chose. Thanks this helps thinking it through with someone other then by DH and I - we are going a bit nuts and thankful this is our last one to go through this process!
