Help!!! EWR to Weehawken/Hoboken NJ

Flying into EWR on 4/19/08; need to get to hotel in Weehawken, with meeting scheduled in Hoboken. Confused by all the different names of train systems. What would you suggest as the easiest way to do this? I know I can take a cab from the airport, but I’d like to save some money if possible. Will only have a carry-on bag with me.

go to NJ transit web site, look at the train map and see if the place you want to go to has a train station near by.

[New Jersey Transit](http://www.njtransit.com/sf/sf_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=TrainTo)

most likely you will have to go to Hoboken and then take a cab.

You can use NJTransit to get from EWR to Secaucus, and you can transfer from there to Hoboken. Call the hotel and ask them how to do it. They know.

Weehawken is now served by NJ Transit light rail Bergen Hudson line). That will take you to Hoboken’s beautifully restored rail terminal and you may well be walking distance to your meeting from there. The light rail service also means that you can take the train from EWR to Secaucus and possibly figure out an NJ Transit regular commuter train route that will connect you to the train station in Hoboken and thus to the light rail. Depending on where in Weehawken your hotel is, you may not need cabs at all. Ask the hotel. and check the NJ Transit Web site for both EWR (Newark Airport) to Secaucus connections and Hudson Bergen Light Rail route and schedule,
