Hey, its my first time posting a thread so please excuse some mistakes I make. :)

Yale has always been my “dream” college just like tens of thousands of students out there. I’m attending an international school in Korea right now and my school in an IB school. It opened only a couple years ago so this year’s seniors will be the first graduates to our school. Anyways, I’m a freshman and I want to the basic expectations from Ivy leagues.

My first quarter grade wasn’t that good. I didn’t get any Cs but my gpa was about 3.6.
My sister told me to relax because its only 9th grade but my goals are pretty high…
I’m in 3 clubs right now: Korean book club, Model UN, and English book club
This spring, I’m planning to go into varsity swimming because they accept almost anyone.

If I work really hard for the rest of the year I might get a gpa of 3.7~3.8
Is this good enough for a freshman? I heard that it is better to improve over the years rather than to go down.
So, if I get a gpa of 3.7~3.8 this year, continue with my clubs & join varsity swimming, do you guys think it is a good start?
I could do one more club if I’m lacking the amount of clubs…

Also, what are the basic things Ivy Leagues are expecting from a freshman?
I really wanted to join the play but the MUN teacher said he’ll kick me out if I do…

Thanks
