<p>Hi! first of all im mexican (and i took both 9th and 10th grade in a private catholic school in mexico, but in 11th grade i switched to the us… its cause i live right next to the border… texas-mexico, and i currently attend another private catholic highschool)</p>
<p>anyways … im auditioning for Tisch (Musical theater… so im performing a2 monologues and singing 2 songs as u may know) this next year… and i really need advice</p>
<p>actually… ive been studying dance my whole life… and
im taking singing lessons…
ive heard its actually not good to sing something from a play thats actually on broadway but i really love this one
i think its gonna be chicago… i dont know if for the upbeat i should go for
all that jazz

ive been learning all the craft so i can

ive been in private schools my whole life (ive heard that matters in some way)
my dancing is good (ballet, jazz, a little bit of tap and fosse)
im in the choir, the yearbook comitte, im the leader of many school activities, i have a great relationship with all the teachers (for the recomendation letters)
i know modern oratory, poetry and i have actually won more than a few contests…</p>
<p>i know it actually doesnt count, but in 8th grade i was 2nd place in the state. Like class rank. It was based upon a test… i got 2nd place in the state… and in 9th grade i won a few contests more… but oratory mainly.</p>
<p>this past summer i went to fordham for a LeadAmerica conference on theater arts…
im working this summer, as a secretary… but all this past year i was giving ballet lessons in a recognized studio in the city i live in… i also worked as a waitress last summer… i guess that looks good on my ressume</p>
<p>for my SAT i got a low grade (1660: 510 reading, 560 writting and 590 math)… but it was just my first one… and im studying to get a better grade…</p>
<p>i took ap chemistry, ap spanish, ap english and ap economics (macro ) this past year… and im taking ap biology, ap government and maybe ap psychology…</p>
