Hi there everyone! So I am planning on transferring to UH Manoa from California and I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice on how I should go about doing this? I’m planning on staying in the student apartments for my first year. Is there any opinion on which apartments would be better? In addition this might seem like an incredibly silly question to ask but physically moving is what I am most confused about. I have never moved somewhere that I can’t just pack all of my things in a car and drive. Should I pack my clothes/essentials in suitcases and have my parents ship the rest of my things later in boxes from California? If that is the case is there a specific service you used? In addition what did you feel like is absolutely essential to bring with me? Any advice on the move there and actually living there would be really appreciated. Thanks so much!
