Hello all! I am currently a high school junior at the top of her class, and I have an equal passion for physics and music. I have looked at some colleges, such as University of Hartford with a Bachelors of Science in Music and Purdue U for grad work, for acoustical degree programs. However, I am also open to looking at schools with dual Physics and Music Bachelors Degree options in the Tri State Area. My primary instrument would be bassoon, and finding a good bassoon professor is a key deciding factor as well. Under consideration currently are: Bard, SUNY Potsdam, SUNY Fredonia, and the dual degree programs at Columbia and Harvard. Any tips for colleges and any experiences with such programs? I am prepared for the level of rigor, and don’t mind it particularly. Thanks!
