<p>I participated in a French exchange program last year (junior year). The French students held a party with alcohol, our school found out, and suspended the students that admitted to drinking for SEVEN DAYS!</p>
<p>I have a 2120 SAT, extensive volunteer work, lots of extracurriculars, and all A’s and B’s.</p>
<p>2 questions:
I plan on writing a letter explaining the suspension, but how much information should I include?</p>
<p>I read on a few websites that most schools do not take drinking offenses that seriously. Bowdoin is my first choice. Will this really hurt my chances at acceptance?</p>
