<p>I just received the notice that I am a GMS scholar… thats really cool and all but I have no idea what my award is going to be.</p>
<p>They said a financial aid officer from the institution I plan to enroll in has to fill out a form they gave me for the amount oif the award to be determined… but its says nothing about what they pay for.</p>
<p>Does the award cover the EFC? What about the self-help part of the financial aid package? Thanks!</p>
<p>congratulations, to my understanding (and this could be wrong), GM covers whatever there is left to fund your education (COA - aid).</p>

<p>What if the school Im going to has met 100% of my demonstrated need? Will they cover at least the self-help part of the aid award?</p>
<p>i believe they will cover work-study, loans and student contribution but not EFC…dont quote me…you should call and ask…some kids on the other thread might know more</p>
