I took the SAT in July and I had my scores sent to Emory. Later they sent a large packet of information to my brother and nothing to me. I thought it was weird that they sent it to him because he didn’t have any interest in the school and he didn’t request any information. I didn’t think about it till now because all my friends who are seniors like me, got invitations to tour the school. When I checked the mail to see if I got one I found one addressed to my brother who is a junior. I did better on the PSATs and the SATs than one of the girls who got an invitation so I suspect that maybe Emory thinks my brother sent in SAT scores. Is it possible for them to make a mistake like this?

Was the girl a junior also? Maybe the mailing was directed at juniors, if not, call admissions and ask them or send them an email. They might be busy this week and next with new freshman coming on campus.

No, the girl is a senior like me. I will still go on the tour because my friend will bring me as a guest and hopefully I will be on their mailing list after that. I might also call and ask how they decide who gets an invitation. If it is something like SAT scores then I know they have us confused and if not they are just not interested in me. Thank you for your reply.
